Our creative process centered around finding imagery that felt both bold and accessible - something that could speak to designers while connecting with a wider audience. This exploration led us to a central visual motif: the banana.
Born out of stylized still-life imagery, the banana became a distilled symbol: simple yet expressive, elegant yet familiar. It nods to art history through pop culture references like Warhol, but also echoes Dada’s ready-made ethos as we treated it like a modular 3D object within Weavy. This allowed us to play with its form, texture, and meaning in a way that subtly says art and design, reimagined through a modern, dynamic lens.
